I love creating unique animal sculptures and reliefs. And I would like to share my process with you!

The First Phases

The First Phases of Creating a Polymer Clay Sculpture

Work is Ongoing: Sculpting the Body

Covering, adding, refining

1. Covering the base with a layer of clay, shaping it into the head of the desired breed. Marking the areas for the eyes and nose. Shaping the ears.

2. Adding details to the eyes and nose.

3. Refining other features: skin folds on the head, ears, teeth, and tongue.

Ready for painting

After making the fingers the figurine is ready for painting.

Painting

The client asked to add a jacket on the dog so I did it and started painting the sculpture.
Creating a base for the sculpture using moss for decoration and epoxy resin for securing.
